Chris Baxley - Founder/Advisor

An experienced healthcare business executive, Chris' background is varied and includes Healthcare Investment Banking, Product Development and Valuation, Operations, Strategy Development and Client Senior-Executive Partnership.

He has focused his career on developing a holistic understanding of the business aspects of healthcare, particularly those that embrace the importance of the healthcare consumer and show promise in improving the way that consumers experience healthcare.

Chris most recently worked with Healthgrades where he was responsible for the senior executive relationships with their largest multi-state health system partners.  He also was responsible for helping to direct Healthgrades' own market strategies.  Prior to Healthgrades, he worked with Healthways, a leading Disease Management and Wellness company.  There Chris was responsible for leading the development of the company's value propositions for its products and ultimately communicating them to clients.  This led to his working directly with the French government's healthcare administration on the launch of a novel diabetes disease management program. Prior to Healthways, Chris worked as a healthcare investment banker, in New York with both JPMorgan and Cain Brothers.

Prior to entering the healthcare business field, Chris served for over seven years as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army with assignments and deployments to Kosovo, South Korea and Iraq.

Chris holds a BBA from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and an MBA with concentrations in Healthcare and Finance from Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management. He lives in Nashville with his wife and three children. He enjoys live music, outdoor activities and continues to struggle in his relationship with the game of golf.
